RWPD citizens’ academy to begin Oct. 16

The Red Wing Police Department will offer its Citizens Academy this fall. The academy gives residents an opportunity to learn more about the day-to-day operations of the various divisions of the police department, including patrol, investigations, evidence, the dispatch center and jail.

The academy runs 6 to 9:30 p.m. for six consecutive Tuesdays beginning Oct. 16. To register, contact Tim Bohmbach at 651-267-2609 or tim.bohmbach@ci.red-wing.mn.us.
