Golden Kiwanis

Golden Kiwanis will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday Sept. 27 at the St. James Hotel. Larry Sonnek will present “Trip to China: Part II.”

Noontime Kiwanis

Noontime Kiwanis will meet at noon Thursday Sept. 27 at the St. James Hotel.

Candidate forum

The League of Women Voters Red Wing will host a candidate forum Thursday Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. State Senate and House of Representative candidates will speak.

Stuttering support

Stuttering support group for adults who have frequent contact with children who stutter will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 25 for a potluck picnic at Glen Park in River Falls. For more information, call facilitator Dr. Jerry Halvorson at 715-792-2863.

Cannon Valley Trail

Joint Powers Board of the Cannon Valley Trail has canceled its Sept. 25 meeting. The next meeting will be 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Welch Station.

Cemetery flowers

The City of Red Wing will begin emptying flower pots at Oakwood and Burnside Cemeteries on Monday Oct. 1.

Healthy cooking class
