Back on the court for Hiawatha Valley League play Tuesday, the Lake City volleyball team remains winless in the HVL after a crushing five-set loss to Triton in Lake City. The Cobras won the match 25-16, 25-14, 25-27, 23-25, 15-13.
Tiffanie Hoops and Taylor Koller led the Tigers with 16 kills apiece, while Koller adding six ace blocks. Bailey Cronin passed the ball effectively with 33 set assists and 10 digs, while Johanna Ender finished with 14 set assists and 11 digs.
Lake City (0-5 HVL, 2-9) looks to get a conference win on Thursday when the team travels to Cannon Falls.
