On the road for a Hiawatha Valley League match, the Cannon Falls girls tennis team fell 4-3 Thursday to Rochester Lourdes.
Getting the lone singles win for the Bombers (1-2 HVL, 6-6) was freshman Maddie Adel, who won 6-2, 7-5 over the Eagles’ Lucy Hansen in No. 3 singles.
In doubles, Cannon Falls’ No. 2 team of Hannah Boman and Sheyenne Bauer won in three sets, 6-2, 0-6, 6-4, over Grace Gorman and Elizabeth Hart. The Bombers got another win in No. 3 doubles, with Grace Rutter and Sarah Modrak defeating Molly Belda and Ellen Gorman 6-1, 6-2.
Cannon Falls heads Saturday to Rochester John Marshall.
