Hotels report vending machines broken into
Three hotels reported that their vending machines had been broken into over the weekend, the Red Wing Police Department said.

Roadway Inn, 235 Withers Harbor Drive, and Country Inn and Suites, 4275 Highway 61 Blvd., both reported Sept. 7 that the locks on their machines had been punched out. Super 8, 232 Withers Harbor Drive, reported a similar incident Sept. 8.
The Roadway Inn was missing $30-$40 in paper bills and change, Country Inn and Suites was missing $5-$10 and Super 8 was missing $30 in change.
