Dedication event planned for flashing beacon pedestrian light

The Jordan Towers Resident Council will hold a dedication for the flashing beacon pedestrian light on Fourth Street on Sept. 13.

The Jordan Towers Resident Council will hold a dedication for the flashing beacon pedestrian light on Fourth Street on Sept. 13.

The event will begin at 1 p.m. at the crosswalk outside Jordan Tower I. Speakers planned include Sen. John Howe, Mayor Dennis Egan, the Jordan Towers Resident Council president and city officials and staff. Following the dedication, refreshments will be available in the Jordan Tower II Sailstad Room, which is also the rain location.
