Registration is open for children entering kindergarten or grade 1 who want to join Mighty Mite flag football or soccer. For kids going into grades 2-6, the Y will offer flag football, soccer and volleyball.
The Y will offer gymnastics classes for children age 3 and older this fall. The classes are Movement & Music and Gym Games.
Youth in Government
Parents and students interested in learning about Youth in Government can attend an informational meeting Monday Sept. 24 at the Y. New participants should show up at 6 p.m., while returning participants will meet at 7 p.m.
Healthy living kick-off
Sept. 10-15 is the Y’s kick-off week for healthy living. The week’s activities will feature entry level group fitness classes, Zumba Fest, tours of the Wellness Center, opportunities to meet personal trainers and more. Email Martha Harris at email@example.com to learn more.
Tai chi for arthritis
Tai chi for people with arthritis will be offered from noon to 1 p.m. Saturdays from Sept. 15 through Nov. 17.
