Spotlight: Annual Pheasant and Wildlife benefit

The Ellsworth Rod & Gun Club will hold its annual Pheasant and Wildlife benefit Saturday Sept. 15 at the clubhouse located on the Rush River.

The Ellsworth Rod & Gun Club will hold its annual Pheasant and Wildlife benefit Saturday Sept. 15 at the clubhouse located on the Rush River. Funds raised remain in Pierce and St. Croix counties and support conservation of fish and wildlife habitat. The banquet also pays to raise and release 4,000 pheasants annually.

There will be live and silent auctions in various raffles.

Participants may shoot trap to win raffle tickets. A sit-down dinner will be served at 6 and 7 p.m.

Rooster raffle tickets are $15 individually or $35 for three tickets. Prizes include a bolt-action rifle, a 50-caliber muzzleloader and $100.
