Blades found in hamburger buns

A Red Wing resident found blades in hamburger buns he purchased Aug. 31 from EconoFoods, 160 S. Tyler Road, the Red Wing Police Department reported.

It appeared as though the blades had been placed in the buns once they were packaged and on the shelf, Chief Tim Sletten said. So far, EconoFoods is not recalling other packages of buns, and Sletten said the public isn’t in danger.

“We believe this is an isolated situation,” he said.
