The Lake City girls soccer team was unable to muster enough scoring in a 4-1 loss to Dover-Eyota Monday in Lake City.
The Tigers got on the board first in the opening half on a breakaway goal by Brandy White. But the lead wouldn’t hold up as Dover-Eyota scored twice in the first half and added two more goals in the second half.
Lake City goalkeeper Beth Peterson made 17 saves in the loss.
The Tigers host La Crescent Thursday.
