Silver Tones rehearse weekly

The Red Wing Senior Center Choir, the Silver Tones, practices weekly 1 p.m. Tuesdays at First Lutheran Church, 615 W. Fifth St., under Director Coleen Fowler and accompanist Cheryl Hemphil. If you like singing harmony, join in.

Seniors Helping Seniors

Seniors Helping Seniors volunteers are skilled and committed to helping other seniors who are experiencing distress in their lives. If you need someone to talk to or you know someone who does, contact Robin Wipperling at 651-385-3456.

Call the Senior Center to schedule a time to meet with an instructor. The sessions offer one-on-one help with your individual specific questions.

Trips, Travels and Tours: “Duck for President”

The Stage Theatre Company presents the family play “Duck for President” at 10 a.m. Thursday Oct. 18. A great opportunity to share with your grandchildren, the play is about a duck who decides to run for president.

The campaign romp is full of recounts and sticky ballots. This hilarious animal twist on an American tradition will delight all ages. Cost is $35 members, $40 nonmembers. Registration is due Monday Oct. 1.

Cards and games placed

The following games will be played: Scrabble - 1 p.m. Wednesdays; Fun Bridge – 10 a.m. Wednesdays.
