Traci Lee Nannette Hardy, 30, of Red Wing, died Saturday, Aug. 25, in Martell Township, as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Traci Lee Nannette Hardy, 30, of Red Wing, died Saturday, Aug. 25, in Martell Township, as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
She was born July 27, 1982, in Seoul, Korea, and was adopted when she was 4 months old by Kevin and Sue (Hanson) Hardy. She grew up in Red Wing and graduated with the Red Wing High School class of 2000. She then took classes to become a travel agent and worked for First Choice Travel. Traci later went on to attend Rasmussen Business College, where she received a business degree, and was currently working on her master's degree there. For the past 8 years, she was employed at Red Wing Shoe Company.
Traveling was one of Traci's loves, especially exploring New York City and the East Coast. She also enjoyed playing softball and was a part of the Prairie Island Leagues. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her dear friends and family.
Traci is survived by her parents, Kevin and Sue Hardy of Red Wing; brothers, Syd (Jamey) Hardy of Hager City and Nick Hardy of Jamestown, N.D.; nephews, Spencer and Cullen Hardy; niece, Madalyn Hardy; boyfriend, Trent Wentlandt of Esdaile, Wis.; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Syd and Skip Hanson; paternal grandparents, Red and Fran Galvin and "Grandma Lucy" and "Grandpa Jesse" Moore.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Reverend Kristen Schlauderaff officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, and for 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
