Burnside open house and celebration will be Aug. 28

Burnside Elementary School will hold its back-to-school open house and celebration 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28.

During the event, people can tour the building, drop off school supplies and medications, deposit money in lunch accounts, sign up for newsletters and SchoolView and learn about the fall fundraiser.

Teachers also will hold 25-minute classroom orientations for parents and students at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.
