Red Wing Public Schools

The Red Wing School Board held a special Board meeting on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Twin Bluff Middle School IMC. The Board members, Superintendent Karsten Anderson, Board Clerk/Director of Finance Brad Johnson, attorneys Morgan Godfrey and Tim Palmatier, staff and public were present. Board Member Christensen was absent. Board Chair Boldt called the meeting to order at 5:35PM.

Motion by Anderson, second by Jones to approve the agenda, motion carried 6-0.

Motion by Anderson, second by Porter to close the meeting pursuant to statute, motion carried 6-0. Chair Boldt closed the meeting at 5:37PM.

Motion by Anderson, second by Baldwin to re-open the meeting, motion carried 6-0. Chair Boldt reopened the meeting at 6:41PM.

Motion by Kramp to approve the recommendation of counsel regarding resolution of Civil Case No. 11-CV-02143, second by Jones. Motion carried 5-1, voting aye: Kramp, Jones, Porter, Baldwin, Boldt, voting nay: Anderson.

Motion by Porter, second by Kramp to adjourn, motion carried 6-0. Chair Boldt adjourned the meeting at 6:44PM.
