Illinois couple injured in Highway 19 crash
An Illinois couple was injured in a crash on Highway 19 and County Road 8 Saturday night.
An Illinois couple was injured in a crash on Highway 19 and County Road 8 Saturday night.
Wesley Peterson, 83, of Mount Prospect, Ill., was driving westbound on Highway 19. His vehicle struck the trailer on a truck driven by Ted Erlanson, 57, of Cannon Falls, who was backing into a driveway, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Peterson and his passenger, Corinne Peterson, 74, also of Mount Prospect, both suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to the Cannon Falls hospital. Erlanson was uninjured.
Cannon Falls fire and ambulance and Goodhue County Sheriff's Office assisted on the scene.
