Christensen files for re-election
Current Red Wing School Board member Mike Christensen filed this week for re-election to the board.

There are four open positions to be filled. Board Chair Mitch Boldt, Christensen, Heidi Jones and Dennis Porter’s terms expire at the end of the year.
Christensen is one of three people to have filed so far. Jones and Janie Farrar, current elementary parent advisory committee president, both filed July 31. Farrar has not previously served on the board.
Filing will close Aug. 14. Candidates can register at the Red Wing School District Office; the cost is $2.
