Two injured in Welch Township crash
Two people suffered possible injuries after a collision early Monday morning at the intersection of County Road 18 and 31 in Welch Township, the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Two people suffered possible injuries after a collision early Monday morning at the intersection of County Road 18 and 31 in Welch Township, the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Kathleen Carr, 40, of Northfield, was eastbound on County Road 31 when she stopped at a stop sign and then proceeded to cross County Road 18 without yielding to another vehicle. According to officials, Carr pulled out in front of Vantha Til, 60, of Rochester, who was southbound on 18.
Til and Thol Teng, a 52-year-old female passenger in his vehicle, were transported by Red Wing Ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing, the sheriff’s office reported.
Carr was uninjured. She was ticketed for failure to yield.
