Course will teach dairy farm safety, best practice protocols

The Center for Dairy Farm Safety will offer a short safety course to local dairy producers Aug. 16 and 23 at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Dairy Learning Center.

The Center for Dairy Farm Safety will offer a short safety course to local dairy producers Aug. 16 and 23 at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Dairy Learning Center.

The course will run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days and cover best practice protocols for dairy farms, hazard identification, chemical labeling, employee training requirements and more. Participants will receive course materials, templates and tools that can be applied to their dairy farms.
