Cannon Valley Trail opens today
The entire Cannon Valley Trail stretching from Cannon Falls to Welch to Red Wing opens today.
The entire Cannon Valley Trail stretching from Cannon Falls to Welch to Red Wing opens today. The Cannon Falls trail head and access from downtown Cannon Falls is also available.
There are still some unpaved sections of the trail as crews continue to work on asphalt, ditch repair and the trail shoulder. Users are encouraged to use caution when going through those areas, and are asked to be courteous when passing trail crews or equipment while repairs are being done.
