Citations issued after underage drinking party

Deputies broke up an underage drinking party attended by between 100 and 200 people Saturday night, the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The party was reported at 11:30 p.m., and deputies responded to the Sunset Trail/Sand Road area in Vasa Township. Sheriff’s spokeswoman Kris Weiss said the alcohol was confiscated or destroyed.

Citations were issued to 23 people, including four who were under the age of 18.
