Red Wing’s offense came alive Friday in a 12-2 nine-inning victory against East Ridge in Woodbury.
Post 54 finished with 21 hits in the victory, scoring four runs in the first and fourth innings, three in the seventh inning and one in the ninth inning.
David Goggin was 4-for-6 with a double and four RBI and also garnered a win on the mound, pitching a perfect second inning for Red Wing. Andrew Sandstrom went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, Mike Stegora was 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and Nic Plein finished 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.
Post 54 will host a playoff game Wednesday.
