Vehicle hits gas meters

No injuries were reported after a vehicle hit a house and three gas meters in Red Wing early Friday morning.

Firefighters/paramedics were on scene at 721 Bush Street within two minutes of receiving the call at 6:25 a.m. Homes on both sides were evacuated after the gas and electrical supply was turned off.

Xcel Energy responded within 15 minutes to begin gas line repairs.
