Sen. John Howe of Red Wing was one of the state lawmakers recognized by the League of Minnesota Cities as a “Legislator of Distinction.”
“You have shown strong support for local control and a willingness to find common ground to find workable solutions,” the LMC said in a letter.
The league, which represents more than 800 cities across the state, including Red Wing, chose 23 state legislators for the distinction this year.
