Community recreation briefs for July 18, 2012
Red Wing Water Park
The Red Wing Water Park is open from noon to 7 p.m. daily. The park features a zero depth pool, tot water feature, two large slides and sand play area. Discounted coupon books and season passes are available.
Football clinic
Winger football coach Matt Schultz and his staff will present three summer camps July 23-26. The high school camp will meet 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the cost is $70. A camp for players in grades 6-8 will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. and the cost is $40. Grades 3-5 will meet 8 to 9:30 a.m. and the cost is $40. All participants will receive a camp T-shirt.
Lacrosse clinic
A free lacrosse clinic will be offered Sunday July 29 to boys going into grades 3-8. It will run 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Twin Bluff Middle School football field No. 2. Twenty-five loaner sticks will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. RSVP to Mark Erickson at merickson@nscsports.org.
