Editorial: Make room
Goodhue County Planning Advisory Commission members would go a long way toward convincing us they've left room for public input in the mining ordinance decision if they made actual room for the citizens. The Government Center's former large courtroom simply isn't large enough, as Monday night's hearing demonstrated. Citizens packed the chamber and overflowed in the hallways where they couldn't hear or be heard.

The PAC will reconvene July 30. The venue should be moved to the Sheldon Theatre or Red Wing High School so everyone interested can fully participate.
