Two departments fight barn fire

A large barn fire early Thursday morning took the efforts of both the Wanamingo and Cannon Falls fire departments to extinguish.

The call came in just before 5 a.m. of a barn on fire at 400th Street near 70th Avenue, a property owned by Darryl Flom. The Wanamingo Fire Department first responded, and Cannon Falls was later asked to assist.
