Open swim

The open swim schedule for July is:

• Monday, 10 to 11 a.m., 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m.

• Tuesday, 1 to 4 p.m. and 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. in the rec pool, 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the lap pool

• Wednesday, 10 to 11 a.m., 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m.

• Thursday, 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m.

• Friday, 10 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 5 p.m.

• Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Water slide hours

The water slide will be open during the following hours in July:

• Monday, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

• Tuesday, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

• Wednesday, 6 to 8:30 p.m.

• Thursday, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

• Saturday, noon to 3 p.m.

Private swim lessons

Private swim lessons for youths, adults and people with special needs are being scheduled for July and August.

New fitness classes

The Y will offer two new classes this month:

• High intensity interval training from 10:05 to 10:35 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays

• Water exercise training from 6 to 6:45 a.m. Wednesdays

Both classes are high energy, high intensity workouts.

River City Ramble

Registration for the River City Ramble 5K is open. Cost to participate in the run/walk is $20. Registration can be done online or in person at the YMCA. Contact Elaine O’Keefe at eokeefe@redwingymca.org for more information.
