Part of Hwy. 19 is now open

Highway 19 between Highway 61 and Goodhue County Road 6 is now completely open, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported.

The highway remains closed between County Road 6 and Cannon Falls while crews continue pavement reclamation and resurfacing work. A detour is still in place and likely will be through August.

There also will be periodic lane closures on the rest of Highway 19 during the project. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers at these times.
