Kids offered a ‘Date to go deep with God’ at vacation Bible school

“Operation Overboard” is the theme for First United Methodist Church’s vacation Bible school July 23-27. The week is an invitation for kids to have a “Date to go deep with God,” organizers said.
Bible school runs 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day and is open to children who recently completed kindergarten up to grade 6. Children from the congregation, their friends and any child from the community are welcome regardless of religion or denomination. Youths who recently completed grades 7 to 12 are invited to help.
There will be songs, crafts, discovery times and games. Family night for parents and children will Thursday July 26. There is no cost, but donations will be accepted to help cover expenses.
Register by completing a form at the church, calling the office at 651-388-3262 or emailing redwingmethodist@msn. com by July 16.
