Two hurt in Pierce County crash

Two men were injured Sunday evening when their vehicles collided on State Highway 29, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department reported. Gary Mollick, 56, Welch, was westbound at about 7:30 p.m. when he crossed over into the eastbound lane, hitting a vehicle driven by Roger Fiedler, 70, Prescott.

Fielder had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported by ambulance to River Falls Area Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Mollick was also transported to River Falls Area Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The sheriff’s department is investigating the crash. River Falls and Prescott police and the Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.
