One injured in Pierce County crash
An 89-year-old man was injured Wednesday when the utility vehicle he was driving was struck by a car, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department reported.
An 89-year-old man was injured Wednesday when the utility vehicle he was driving was struck by a car, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Charles E. Hanson, River Falls, was attempting to cross State Road 29 in River Falls Township at around 5:45 p.m. He was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by Daniel A. Hetchler, 46, River Falls.
Hanson was ejected and transported by River Falls Area Ambulance Service to River Falls Area Hospital with undetermined injuries.
Hetchler was uninjured.
The River Falls Area Fire Department and the River Falls Police Department assisted at the scene.
