Goodhue man injured after falling asleep while driving

A 28-year-old Goodhue man ended up in the hospital early Saturday morning after falling asleep behind the wheel.

Andrew Kodada was eastbound on County Road 9 in Belle Creek Township at 4:13 a.m. Saturday June 23 when he dozed off, crossed the center line, went off the road into a ditch and hit a fence line.

Kodada was transported by a private party to Fairview Red Wing Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
