Vasa Township will be featured next

The Goodhue County History Center will feature Vasa Township as the next exhibit in its Goodhue County townships series. This will be the center’s 14th township exhibit. The exhibit will be on display July 28 through December 2012.

The History Center is looking for stories and information about Vasa Township, including the communities of Vasa, White Rock, and Spencer. The center also is interested in borrowing photographs and artifacts relating to the schools, businesses, churches, organizations, farms and people of Vasa Township.

If you have information or would like to loan artifacts and photographs for the exhibit, contact collections/exhibits manager Johanna Grothe at the Goodhue County Historical Society at 651-388-6024 or jlgrothe@qwestoffice.net. Information and artifacts are needed by July 16.
