Topic of open house will be silica sand mining, processing
The Red Wing Advisory Planning and Sustainability commissions are holding a public open house and hearing June 26.
The Red Wing Advisory Planning and Sustainability commissions are holding a public open house and hearing June 26 to discuss a draft report on silica sand mining, processing and other operations.
The open house will run from 6 to 7 p.m. at City Hall and the hearing will begin at 7 p.m. Copies of the draft report are available at www.red-wing.org/silicasandmining.html or from the Planning Department at City Hall, 315 W. Fourth St.
