Skateboarder struck by car

A 14-year-old Red Wing resident suffered unknown injuries Tuesday evening after being struck by a car, the Red Wing Police Department reported.

Reilee Fick, 1719 Central Park St., was riding a skateboard down a driveway and into a lane of traffic on Bush Street at 6:12 p.m. when a westbound vehicle on Bush struck the skateboarder.

Fick was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
