FFA group plans three fundraisers for this weekend
The Red Wing FFA, along with FFA alumni, is planning three fundraisers for this weekend.
The Red Wing FFA, along with FFA alumni, is planning three fundraisers for this weekend. Proceeds will go toward a new hoop greenhouse at Red Wing High School, as well as funding for plants, animals and camps.
• FFA students will be selling the plants they grew during the past school year at the Red Wing Farmers Market at the Depot on Levee Street Saturday morning. The market runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Also on Saturday, FFA students are holding a garage sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 732 East Ave. Current FFA members and alumni have donated items for the sale.
• An all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Red Wing Elks Club, 306 W. Fourth St. Cost is $5 at the door. Tickets for a 50/50 raffle drawing will be for sale until 11 a.m., with the drawing at noon. Each ticket is $2; half the proceeds from the raffle will go toward prizes for multiple winners, and the other half will go to the FFA organization.
