Road construction begins June 18

A variety of road construction projects will begin June 18 causing lane closures and traffic interruptions. The project, which includes bituminous milling, reclamation, paving and other work, is scheduled to be complete by Sept. 7.

The affected streets are:

• Spring Creek Avenue North, from Highway 61 to Lake Street

• Kosec Drive, from Graves Drive to the dead end

• Graves Drive, from Kosec Drive to Spring Creek Road South

• West Sixth Street, from Washington to Minnesota streets

• West Seventh Street, from Featherstone Road to Buchanan Street

• Siewert Street, from Neal Street to Woodland Drive

• Spates Avenue, from Hickory to Ash streets

• Bluff Street, from Seventh to Eighth streets

• Bush Street, from end of curb to Mississippi National

• Martha Lane, West End Avenue, Malmquist Avenue, Ash Street, Fox Farm Road, Charlson Drive, Oakwood Cemetery roads, Athletic Field parking lot, A.P. Anderson Park road and lots.
