'Forever Plaid' auditions open

Auditions for this fall’s production of “Forever Plaid” will be 7 p.m. Monday June 25 at the State Theatre, 96 E. Fourth St., Zumbrota. The cast includes four to 10 men, four of whom must sing in tight four-part harmony.

Auditions for this fall’s production of “Forever Plaid” will be 7 p.m. Monday June 25 at the State Theatre, 96 E. Fourth St., Zumbrota. The cast includes four to 10 men, four of whom must sing in tight four-part harmony.

Auditions will involve singing. You may bring a prepared song to sing if you wish, but this is not required. If you have a prepared song, please bring your own accompanist or sheet music for the pianist at auditions. Rehearsals for the show will begin on July 9.

Opportunities to participate in other aspects of the production include set decorating, costumes and makeup, tech crew, stage crew, publicity, ticket sales and ushering. Anyone wishing to help with any of these areas should call Ronda Anderson-Sand at 507-732-7830.

“Forever Plaid” is a production of Z-Theatre, a part of the Zumbrota Area Arts Council. Performances will Aug. 24, 25, 26, 31, Sept. 1 and 2. Directors are Lori Rauen and JC Koepsell.
