Baseball: Send-off planned for Red Wing baseball team
The Red Wing baseball team will hold a send-off practice Thursday outside Prairie Island Arena from 10-11:30 a.m. open to the public.By: R-E Sports Staff, The Republican Eagle
The Red Wing baseball team will hold a send-off practice Thursday outside Prairie Island Arena from 10-11:30 a.m. open to the public.
People interesting in cheering on the team and making signs for the team are encouraged to attend.
The team will board the bus bound for St. Paul and the Wingers’ Class 3A state tournament game against Eastview at Midway Stadium in St. Paul.
The bus will travel down Pioneer Road and onto Highway 61. Supporters are encouraged to cheer the team on its way up to St. Paul.
