A Red Wing man was sentenced to 18 months in prison for allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint last February.
Robbie Edward Espinoza, 30, 825 Bush St., pleaded guilty in April to one felony count of simple robbery. As a result, a first-degree aggravated robbery charge and a second-degree assault charge were dropped.
According to a court complaint filed Feb. 10, Espinoza was at a party on Frenn Avenue, during which he pushed a man against a wall, held a gun to his head and demanded money.
Two other men, Travis John Corrigan, 20, and Craig Donald Jablonske, 51, both of 352 Frenn Ave., were also allegedly involved in the robbery, the complaint says. Corrigan’s next court date is July 6; Jablonske’s is June 22.
Espinoza reported to Minnesota Correctional Facility-St. Cloud Friday. He will receive credit for 120 days already served.
