The Red Wing Aces snapped a seven game losing streak Friday with a 4-0 win against Randolph at the Red Wing Athletic Field.
Aaron Johnson threw a complete game, allowing just three hits and no walks while striking out 12. Johnson did not allow a hit through the first four innings and had eight strikeouts at that point.
Adam Thygesen led the Aces at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. Ryan Boldt was 2-for-3 with a double and a stole base, Jordan Warren finished 1-for-2 and Josh Thygesen went 1-for-3 with a run scored. Red Wing had just six hits but walked five times and scored runs in the third, fifth, seventh and eighth innings.
The Railcats made three errors in the loss. No player had more than one hit.
The Aces host Northfield Sunday at 2 p.m.
