Frontenac State Park will celebrate with open house
The annual State Park Open House Day at Frontenac State Park is Saturday June 9 this year.
The annual State Park Open House Day at Frontenac State Park is Saturday June 9 this year. On this day, all vehicles entering any state park for the day can do so for free.
Volunteer naturalist Bruce Ause of Red Wing will lead a nature hike at 10 a.m. Join him at the amphitheater in the campground for about an hour-long hike along the bluff top.
Members of the Frontenac State Park Association will be serving refreshments in the picnic area from 1 to 3 p.m. or until supplies last.
