Day camp to be held on dairy farm

The Minnesota Farmers Union, Goodhue County Farmers Union and Wabasha County Pork Producers are holding Day Camp on a Dairy Farm from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Monday June 11 at the Huneke Dairy, 25409 County 16 Blvd., in Goodhue.

The Minnesota Farmers Union, Goodhue County Farmers Union and Wabasha County Pork Producers are holding Day Camp on a Dairy Farm from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Monday June 11 at the Huneke Dairy, 25409 County 16 Blvd., in Goodhue.

The camp is for children ages 5-12. It offers hands-on experience feeding calves, an up-close look at cows being milked and activities regarding cattle and hog production. There will also be games, crafts and treats. Cost is $5.
