Man robs Lake City bank
A man entered a Lake City bank Monday afternoon, handed the teller a note demanding money and walked out with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A man entered a Lake City bank Monday afternoon, handed the teller a note demanding money and walked out with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man, described as a white male with dark hair in his early to late 20s, entered Alliance Bank at 105 E. Lyon Ave. at about 4:15 p.m., Lake City Police Chief Gary Majchrzak said. The note the man gave the teller said he had a gun.
The man was wearing a white shirt with a blue shirt underneath and tan shorts. He fled the scene on foot.
Lake City Police Department, Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office, Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI are investigating the robbery.
