District 58 races taking shape
Andrew Brobston, a software engineer from rural Dakota County, filed to run for the Minnesota Senate in District 58.
Andrew Brobston, a software engineer from rural Dakota County, filed to run for the Minnesota Senate in District 58.
The district includes portions of rural Goodhue and Dakota counties as well as Farmington and most of Lakeville.
Brobston is a first-time candidate for public office. He will challenge Republican Dave Thompson.
Republican Pat Garofalo and Democrat Jim Arlt have filed for state representative in District 58B, which includes part of Goodhue County.
