Celebrating 12 years in 2012, Monroe Crossing continues to play classic bluegrass, bluegrass gospel and heartfelt originals. The group will appear at 8 p.m. Saturday June 9 at the Zumbrota State Theatre.

Crossings at Carnegie is bringing the five-member band back by popular demand after a near sell-out crowd at 2011’s performance.

Monroe Crossing has recorded 12 CDs to date, releasing not one but two albums in 2011. In honor of the 100th anniversary of Bill Monroe’s birth, they recorded an all-Monroe CD, “Monroe Crossing Plays the Music of Bill Monroe.”

Tickets are $18 in advance; $20 day of show. To reserve tickets, stop in to Crossings at 320 East Avenue in Zumbrota or call 507-732-7616.
