Camp Pepin

Registration has begun for Camp Pepin. A variety of camps are available for kids in grades 2-12. For more information, visit www.camppepin.org.

Building a Better Athlete

The YMCA and Fairview Red Wing Health Services are collaborating to offer “Building a Better Athlete” for high school students. The program will focus on improving speed, agility, strength and more. Students entering grades 8-12 may choose from a June session, July session or both.

Summer Enrichment

Summer Enrichment & Rec Program is open to all boys and girls ages 5-13. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon, Colvill Park, South Park and Hi Park will be open for kids to play, make crafts and more. Tuesdays will be enrichment days and Thursdays will be trip days. Pre-registration and payment are required.

Swimming

A challenge lasting now through Labor Day weekend will encourage swimmers to swim the same distance of the English Channel. Miles accumulate and can be done at the Y, a lake or another facility. Cost is $12. Participants finishing the swim will get a “I swam the English Challenge” T-shirt.
