Work begins on area bridges including Highways 60 and 58

Motorists will see some temporary lane closures on highways as crews seal joints and cracks on bridges throughout the state, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.
There will be repairs on 65 bridges spanning 11 highways. In Goodhue County, Highways 60 and 58 will be affected. Work will include roads in Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Wabasha and Winona counties.
The sealing project is expected to be completed by mid-August, weather permitting. For more information, visit www.mndot.gov.
