Use Management
The Goodhue County Board of Commissioners will meet on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. in the Goodhue County Government Center, third floor Board Room, located at 509 West Fifth Street in Red Wing, Minnesota. The following items are tentatively scheduled for a Public Hearing:
Jacob Rude - Conditional Use Permit - NW ¼ Section 18, T109N R15W, Pine Island Township. The request is for a conditional use permit to increase the number of animal units over 500 animal units and to increase the manure holding capacity over 500,000 liquid gallons in the A-1 Agricultural Protection District.
Mark Thoreson - Zoning District Amendment - Pt of E ½ of SW ¼, and W ½, of SE ¼ Section 21, T110N, R16W, Minneola Township. The request is to amend to zoning district of the property from A-2, Agricultural District to CR- Commercial Recreational District.
Mark Thoreson - Conditional Use Permit - Pt of E ½ of SW ¼, and W ½, of SE ¼ Section 21, T110N, R16W, Minneola Township. The request is for a conditional use permit for a resort facility to include 4 cabins and a man made recreational pond.
Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment -proposed amendment to Article 22: A-3 (Urban Fringe District- addition of a provision to allow parcels with an existing dwelling as of a specific date (to be established) which have 35 acres or more to be subdivided so that the dwelling site may be separated from the remaining acreage. The subsequent minimum lot size for the dwelling parcel would be two acres.
