Book Club for Women meets
Book Club for Women will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday June 1 and discuss “The Persian Pickle Club” by Sandra Dallas. Make it your goal to read a new book and then join others for some friendly discussion.
Travel to Old Log Theater
Travel to the Old Log Theater Wednesday June 6. “The Fox on the Fairway” is a hilarious romp which begins as rival country clubs, Quail Valley and Crouching Squirrel, head into their annual golf tournament.
With a sizable wager the contest plays out amidst mistaken identities, three love affairs, a disappearing diamond, objectionable sweaters and an exploding vase. A charming madcap adventure about love, life and man’s eternal love affair with golf.
Cost $55 members, $60 nonmembers. Reservations due by May 30.
Silver Tones
The Red Wing Senior Center choir, the Silver Tones, practices every Tuesday at 1 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, 615 W. Sixth St. Director Coleen Fowler and accompanist Cheryl Hemphill invite you to join.
Computers available to use
The center has two computers with access to the Internet available for members to use anytime from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Red Wing Train Club
Visit the Gandy Dancers any Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m. You will see two layouts: "O" gauge and "HO" gauge. Train enthusiasts of every age are invited.
Gentle Yoga for Seniors
Learn gentle yoga positions and start anytime with instructor Michelle Hoffman from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesdays. Cost for six sessions $45 individuals, $80 couples. Gentle chair yoga can provide many benefits for conditions like arthritis, diabetes, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic pain and more. Call 651-267-3599 to register.
Cards and games
The following games will be played: Scrabble - 1 p.m. Wednesdays; Fun Bridge – 10 a.m. Wednesdays.
